Safety Comes First

Safety is not just something we observe at Phoenix Builders – it’s an active, ingrained value for all of our team. We recognize the responsibility we have to provide the safest workplace possible for our clients, employees and subcontractors.  Our focus on safety begins before a job even starts. Prior to mobilization, all projects are reviewed by the Project Team to evaluate safety-related issues and to develop an effective project-specific safety program. Further, we provide job site safety inspections by a third-party Safety Review Consultant.

The Phoenix Builders Safety Leadership Committee – comprised of owners, managers, field personnel, and a professional safety consultant firm – meets monthly to discuss safety evaluations, best practices, and overall risk reduction. 

All new employees participate in a safety orientation class and are given all appropriate PPE equipment. But we don’t stop there: our commitment to ensuring safe environments continues through ongoing employee training and education. All of our onsite supervisors are competent safety officers who review the job site throughout each day noting and/or correcting any safety violations.
