Purpose

Supervision of job site, ongoing reporting to Project Manager, management of sub-contractors, and liaison with project owners and architects.


Accountabilities

  • Review project contract scope of work with Project Manager 
  • Daily field supervision of all job site activity and project phases for the duration of the project 
  • Coordination, scheduling, and ongoing supervision of trade contractors and material suppliers
  • Maintain project schedule and identify and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist on-site project owners and architects
  • Prepare project tracking and weekly progress reporting to Project Manager  
  • Enforce adherence to all company safety policies on job site

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • 5+ years Project Superintendent / Management experience
  • 10+ years experience in Commercial construction
  • OSHA 10-Hour Safety Certification 
  • Apprenticeship and/or formal training in carpentry 
  • Degree in Project Management a plus
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the construction industry
  • Able to frequently and safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
